Robert Holland

In 2008 Rob Holland became the Advanced World Aerobatic Champion at the 8th Advanced World Aerobatic Championships held in Pendleton, OR and helped pave the way for Team USA to earn the Team Gold Medal that year.

Rob is a three-time member of the United States Advanced Aerobatic Team. He was the top placing American at the 2004, 2006 and 2008 Advanced World Aerobatic Championships (AWAC). Rob placed second over all in the world at the 2006 AWAC held in Radom, Poland and helped the US Aerobatic Team secure second place in the team standings.

In 2008, Rob Holland became the United States National Unlimited Freestyle Champion and was also named the “2008 ASB.tv Person of the Year” for his ongoing support and enthusiasm in the airshow community.

In addition to his recent major accomplishments, Rob has received multiple first place awards in aerobatic competitions both in the United States and Canada early in his career.  He was named the New England Competitor of the Year for 2002, 2003, and 2004. He won the “Pitts Trophy” two times and is the Northeast Advanced Aerobatic Champion for 2003, 2004, and 2005.

Rob has a Level One Unrestricted Aerobatic Waiver for airshows. “Solo Aerobatics”, “Formation Aerobatics”, “Circle Jumpers”, and “Wing Walking Pilot” along with numerous aircraft types are authorized on his Low Level Aerobatic Waiver.

Passionate about the continued growth, promotion, and safety of sport aviation and aerobatics, Rob was voted to the Board of Directors of the International Aerobatic Club (IAC) in 2006.

In 2008, Rob was awarded the “Distinguished Alumnus of the Year” Award by the Daniel Webster College Alumni Council.
